An after-hours enquiry, booked before breakfast

It's late and you're closed. The AI Front Desk greets the visitor, knows your opening hours, captures the job, and drops a tidy lead into your inbox — ready to schedule in the morning.

The AI add-on turns the whole app intelligent. Four tools — a 24/7 Front Desk receptionist, an in-app assistant, a route planner and document import — plus a handful of smaller touches. It's optional at £30/mo, and switched on for your entire 14-day free trial so you can try it on real work.

AI Front Desk

Your 24/7 receptionist

The Front Desk answers your website around the clock. It greets every visitor, asks for their name and what they need, and files a tidy lead in your inbox — so an enquiry at midnight is waiting for you with your morning coffee, not lost to a missed form.

It's opening-hours aware: if you're closed it says so, tells the visitor when you open, and still captures the job and a good time to call back. During the day it answers from your own business knowledge — services, areas you cover, the basics customers always ask.

  • Captures name, contact, what they need and the best time to call.
  • Knows your opening hours and handles after-hours enquiries gracefully.
  • Answers from your business knowledge — not the open internet.
  • No read tools — it can't see or leak your jobs, customers or data.
  • Nothing is written to your jobs or customers automatically: a human reviews each lead and converts it to a job in one click.
  • Embed the same chat on any website with a single line of code.

Find it on the Front Desk page, with a public chat link you can share or embed.

Ask AI

Your in-app assistant

Ask AI is a chat assistant built into the app. Ask it things like "how many jobs are open this week?" or "what did we quote on the Hughes job?" and it answers from your live data, in plain English — no reports to build, no filters to set.

  • Answers about your jobs, customers, hours and schedule from live data.
  • Role-aware: staff get staff-level answers; admins can ask about costs and revenue.
  • Paste a photo and it can read it — a part number, a meter, a handwritten note.
  • Can carry out a few actions for you, like rescheduling a job — always asking you to confirm first.
  • Remembers the conversation, so you can pick it back up on any device.

Open it with the Ask AI button at the bottom of any page.

AI Route Planner

Smarter days on the road

Pick the jobs for a day and the Route Planner orders them into an efficient drive, then hands the whole run straight to Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions. Less time backtracking, more jobs done.

  • Orders the day's jobs to cut unnecessary driving.
  • Respects the day and the jobs you choose.
  • Opens the finished route directly in Google Maps.
  • Ideal for mobile teams covering a patch of jobs.

Find it on the Route Planner page.

AI Document Import

No more retyping

Snap or upload a supplier invoice or a photo, and the AI reads the line items for you — so materials land on the job without typing them out one by one. You review what it found before anything is saved.

  • Reads invoices and photos and pulls out materials and details.
  • Drops them onto the job, ready to check.
  • You stay in control — review and edit before it's saved.

Find it on a job, under materials & document import.

More AI touches

Smaller helpers are dotted through the app where they save a minute here and there:

  • Summarise with AI — turn a long thread of job updates into a tidy paragraph for the customer or the record.
  • Suggested titles — turn a rough description into a clean, consistent job title in one tap.
Every AI feature is designed to do the boring part and then hand it back to you to check — it drafts, captures and orders, but a human always makes the call.

Switching it on

AI is an optional add-on at £30/mo on top of your plan, and it's included free for your whole 14-day trial — so you can see what it does for your business before you decide. Turn it on or off any time from Billing.
