The agreement between you and Job Manager — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Job Manager Ltd ("we", "us") for use of the Job Manager website and apps. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to do so.

The short version: use it fairly, keep your subscription paid, and your data stays yours. Either side can end the agreement with reasonable notice.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for anything done under it by you or your team. Keep your login details safe, give us accurate information, and make sure each person who needs access has their own login. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.

Acceptable use

Use Job Manager for running your business — not for anything unlawful or harmful. You agree not to:

  • break the law or use the service to help someone else break it;
  • upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content;
  • try to reverse-engineer, copy or resell the software without our written permission;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the service or the data of other customers;
  • misuse another person's data held in your account.

Subscription & billing

Job Manager is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly per the pricing page. Your trial and renewal work like this:

Plan termWhat happens
Free trial14 days with full features. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
MonthlyRenews each month until you cancel. Cancel anytime — access runs to the end of the paid month.
AnnualRenews each year; we send a reminder before it does.
CancellationTakes effect at the end of your current paid period. We don't pro-rate part-months.

Prices may change, but we'll always give you clear notice before a change affects you. Nothing here removes the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Your data & ours

Your data is yours. You keep all rights to the jobs, customers and records you put into Job Manager; you simply give us permission to host and process them so we can run the service for you. The software, brand and design are ours and stay ours. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a sensible window after it goes quiet so you don't lose anything by mistake. Our retention timelines are:

SituationWhat happens
Trial, never activatedIf a free trial sees no activity for 60 days, we delete its data. Add a billing method before then and everything is kept.
Paid account, gone quietIf a paid account is inactive for 12 months, we archive it. Your data is retained and you can reactivate at any time to pick up where you left off.
Failed paymentIf a payment fails, you have 48 hours to update your card. After that the app is placed on hold and sign-in is paused for your team until it's resolved. Your data is never deleted because of a failed payment, and access is restored the moment payment succeeds.
After you cancelWhen an account closes you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it.

In short: a failed payment never costs you your data — it only pauses access. Deletion only happens to long-abandoned trials, and archiving a dormant paid account is fully reversible.

Availability

We work hard to keep Job Manager fast and available, and we publish our system status. We can't promise it will never go down — occasional maintenance and the odd fault are part of any online service — but we'll keep disruption to a minimum and warn you about planned work where we can.

Liability

Job Manager is provided "as is", to the fullest extent the law allows. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or data you didn't back up yourself. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or don't pay — we'll give you notice and a chance to put it right where it's reasonable to do so. After your account closes, you'll have 30 days to export your data before we delete it.
