How we keep your data — and your customers' data — safe. UK hosting, encryption everywhere, and daily backups.

Overview

You're trusting Job Manager with your business and your customers' details, so security isn't an add-on for us — it's built into how the service runs. Here's a plain-English summary of how we protect your data.

The short version: your data lives in the UK, it's encrypted in transit and at rest, it's backed up every day, and only the people who need access have it.

Hosting & infrastructure

Job Manager runs on servers in the United Kingdom, with physical security, power and network resilience handled by a reputable hosting provider. Each customer's data is logically separated, so one account can never see another's.

Encryption

Every connection to Job Manager is encrypted, and your data is encrypted where it's stored. Passwords are never kept in plain text. The headline controls:

ControlHow we do it
Encryption in transitTLS / HTTPS on every connection
Encryption at restDisk-level encryption on our servers
PasswordsHashed with a strong algorithm — never stored or logged in plain text
Data locationUnited Kingdom, always

Access control

Inside the app, you decide who sees what: admins and staff get different views, and you can hide costs and pricing from team members who don't need them. On our side, staff access to customer data is kept to the minimum needed to support you, protected by strong authentication, and logged.

Backups & recovery

We take encrypted backups of your data every day and test that they actually restore — a backup you can't recover from isn't a backup. If the worst happens, we can roll back to a recent point with minimal loss.

Daily encrypted backups, tested restores, and least-privilege access. We'd rather over-prepare than explain a data loss to you.

Monitoring

We log errors and keep an audit trail of sensitive actions, so we can spot problems early and trace anything unusual. Important changes inside your account are recorded so you can see who did what.

Reporting an issue

If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, please tell us before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Don't run tests that could affect other customers or access data that isn't yours. Email support@ssaw.uk with the details and we'll take it seriously.
